Our help on the ground
300 medical volunteers per year – treating 48,000 patients. That is the work of our organisation at a glance. Those 48,000 people come from Afghanistan, Syria, Bangladesh, Algeria, Pakistan, Iraq and other countries and are on the move.
Their future: uncertain. Their stations: maybe the new camp Mavrovouni (“Kara Tepe 2”) in Greece. maybe the new camp of the EU on Samos. maybe homelessness somewhere in Greece or an alternative route – for example via Bosnia or Belarus.
We help where our help is needed – simple and straightforward. We are Medical Volunteers International e.V.
Your help
Over the past few years, your continued support has allowed us to receive many donations, enabling us to fulfill our mission and provide ongoing medical care in crisis areas. Last year in particular, we doubled the number of our projects to a total of six, and thanks to the commitment and heart and soul of our teams, we are able to offer comprehensive medical and psychological help to refugees at a total of four locations. This has increased our expenses on the ground, which is why we need your help more than ever. We want to finance and expand our projects in the coming months and beyond, but we can’t do that without your support. Whether you want to give something yourself, share this campaign or start your own fundraising appeal – every single action and support helps us to be able to continue our work and secure medical care in our locations. Because we are convinced: Healthcare is a human right. We thank each and every one of you for your support – no matter in which way – to be a helping hand for the refugees and to assist them with medical and psychological help.
