First aid for cohesion!

Working together to achieve greater self-confidence, health, and participation.
Our project “First Aid for Cohesion” teaches people on the move practical first aid skills. In this way, we support them in asserting themselves better in everyday life and at the same time strengthen mutual cooperation. Together, we take the first step toward greater self-confidence, health, and participation.
People on the move in Germany often face hurdles in the healthcare system: language barriers, complicated processes, and long waiting times make it difficult to receive care quickly. With our free first aid courses, we want to help close this gap in care and facilitate access to professional help. We strengthen the human right to health and promote the self-help potential, safety, and well-being of participants with our services.
Our first aid workshops are held as one-day courses directly at accommodation facilities or at an agreed location. The training courses are practical, easy to understand, and focus on everyday emergencies, e.g., injuries, illnesses, or accidents. Trained instructors ensure that all content is conveyed in a way that is understandable and culturally sensitive. The courses are held in German or English, and other languages can also be offered on request thanks to language mediators. At the end of the course, participants receive a certificate on site, which can also strengthen their career prospects in the health sector or provide a good basis for obtaining a driver’s license, for example.
The offer is aimed at people on the move aged 16 and over who want to improve their own safety and that of their fellow human beings – regardless of prior knowledge. Anyone interested in a course at their accommodation can contact us directly. We advise, organize, and conduct the workshops individually on site with a maximum of 15 participants.
Get in touch now: simply send us an email and we will discuss all the details personally and flexibly.
